The Southey Care Foundation is our Group's Not-For-Profit Charity Foundation which was established in 2017 as a mark of remembrance in honour of our late founding chairman Sir (Engr.) James Asuquo Southey, who was known for his tireless charity work throughout his lifetime.

The Group views this platform as a vehicle through which we can give back to the same society responsible for our growth and successes over the years. Through determined and focused execution of well thought-out projects by our board of trustees which include the Group Chairman as well as the Group Managing Director, our ambition is to create a positive impact on disadvantaged children, the elderly and military families. This is what we do and it represents what we stand for.

At the core of every project we undertake and every programme of change we support, our goal is to commit and apply our funds in a way that seeks to advance opportunities and create lasting change for our beneficiaries who are unfairly disadvantaged or vulnerable to life's challenging circumstances. Our underlying values are compassion, probity and assiduity. These values are at the heart of our foundation and help us instigate real change for the most fragile members of our society; our orphaned children, our senior citizens and our needy gold star families.

Similarly, in line with International Best Practice, it is our way of implementing Corporate Social Responsibility to the communities that host us, the municipalities where we work and to the citizens of the countries that patronize us.

In addition we look forward to creating synergies with local and international organizations which have significantly more experience than we do, have a wider reach than ourselves and have long standing reputations focused towards â??Lending A Hand To Humanityâ?.
